Over the last few months at Luna 9, we’ve been having a look at the way we do things. From the creative projects we’re involved in right through to how they’re delivered, we’ve turned over every stone to reassess whether we are practising what we preach – making things easier to understand.

Now, as a result of all that hard work, we’re proud to share our new website. This isn’t just some new case studies and a snappy homepage redesign, it’s been a ground-up exploration around how we can create the most impact for the people who matter most – our clients and the audiences they wish to engage.

The whole journey has been an eye-opening, turning our process inwards. We’ve read books looking at every angle, sought out expert opinions from outside our four walls and, crucially, had a lot of down-to-earth, honest conversations. Finding the time and headspace to make considered changes is tough, but we’ve been determined to re-examine who we help, what challenges they face, and whether we’re making that process easy enough to navigate.

Enough about us though, this is more about you. I’m keen to explain how we’ve reshaped our website, and why we believe it will make things easier when you’re facing your next communication challenge.

Problem solving is the golden thread

We often talk about the ‘golden thread’ – the message that runs right through any piece of communication and ties it all together. Problem solving is the defining thing we have in common with every client we work with. It’s finding solutions to the hurdles that their audiences have in understanding important information.

We’re shifting the conversation to one of identifying and tackling these challenges, from the easy fixes right through to the left-field briefs that require some serious out-of-the-box thinking.

Simplicity starts with us

As you’ll be well aware of by now, we’re huge advocates of making things simple. But, when it came to reflecting on how we bring potential clients onboard to work with us, we felt we had a way to go in terms of setting the bar.

That’s why we’ve introduced a set of four creative packages to act as conversations starters for our clients. Forget off-the-shelf products or cookie cutter outputs, these are designed to help us all get on the same page about a variety of potential creative solutions based on our client’s challenges, audience, budget and timeframe.

We believe that clearer communication around pricing and expectations is an important leveller, reducing the buyer-seller dynamic (common in our trickier projects) and enabling us to work in partnership from the start to create more light bulb moments for audiences everywhere. We’ll always quote based on a brief, because every project is different, but in our experience clearer information up front leads to better decisions. And that starts with us.

A chance to share our clients’ amazing projects

Gathering together case studies of our work over the last 12 months has been a source of great pride. Not so much for the work we’ve produced (although it’s always nice to have a chance to show off a bit!) but rather to reflect on the brilliant people and projects that have become part of Luna 9’s growth.

We’re fortunate to work with client from all sorts of sectors and background who are doing amazing things, and see our portfolio as examples of what great things can happen when you combine our clients’ knowledge and passion with our creative thinking. We’re excited to build on this and add plenty more case studies showcasing important messages made easy to understand.
