2021 is a big year for acting on climate change. After the IPCC report in August that documented the warming of the planet as “widespread, rapid, and intensifying”, the world is now looking to the next pivotal moment in the fight against climate change: COP26.

Hosted by the UK in Glasgow this November, the 26th annual summit promises to set some crucial goals for the most important decade in our climate’s history. Every one of us has a part to play in this essential mission to halt global temperature increase, and at Luna 9 we’re doing our part.

We have our personal goals for reducing our impact in day-to-day studio life, and we’re excited that our reach can also extend much further into helping our clients communicate their own sustainability solutions.

Net Zero is a tricky subject to understand at the best of times – and at such an important junction in our planet’s history it’s never been more important to ensure that the understanding of what this means for us, for our children and for our future is spread far and wide.

Whether we’re helping to articulate our clients’ own climate pledges, or highlighting a wealth of climate-friendly innovations, ideas, services or processes to a wider network, the role of design and communication has never been more important.

We’re here for the road to COP26 and beyond, and hopeful for the future of our planet.
